Q: What are the common wear-resistant materials used in ring dies?

A: The mainstream materials used are high-chromium stainless steel and alloy steel forging. For processing biomass raw materials such as wood chips and straw, high wear-resistant alloy steel is preferred. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel ring dies are suitable for processing livestock, poultry and aquatic feed.

Q: Are the ring die and pressure roller skin core components of a pellet mill?

A: Both are core consumable parts in pelleting. The material is extruded and formed by the ring die hole, and the pressure roller skin presses the material to complete the pelleting operation, which directly affects the pelleting quality and the overall machine output efficiency.
